A HOUSEWIFE of the University Teaching Hospital flats has denied threatening violence and damaging property of a Lusaka nurse she suspects to have been impregnated by her husband.
Madini Geloo, 28, told Lusaka Magistrate Faides Hamaundu that she understood the charges levelled against her but denied the two charges.
She is in count one facing a charge of threatening violence. Geloo is alleged to have on February 11 this year threatened violence to Naomi Mushota by telling her: “I will skin you alive, that baby must come out of your womb; you cannot carry my husband’s blood’’.
She is in count two facing a charge of malicious damage to property. It is alleged that Geloo on February 11 unlawfully and wilfully damaged curtain rails, one rear car wiper and a car front rim cover all valued at K 500.
The matter comes up on May 31 for commencement of trial.
