A 33-YEAR-OLD woman told a Local court in Lusaka that her husband has been mentioning another woman’s name several times when making love to her.
This is in a case in which Melody Tembo of Kanyama compound sued her husband, Choti Saiti, 38, on allegation that he was promiscuous.
The two got married in 2014 and have one child.
Tembo told Senior Court Magistrate Sarah Nyendwa sitting with Magistrates Daniel Phiri and Ackim Phiri at Kanyama Local Court that Saiti, on several occasions, mentioned ‘Rosa’ when making love to her and that he once told her that Rosa was a beautiful woman as compared to her.
She wondered why Saiti disrespected her to an extent where he could mention another woman’s name while making love to her.
Tembo said that Saiti was evil as he could not allow her to bring her two daughters into their matrimonial home.
She further told the court that Saiti was promiscuous and was now showing interest in her niece who came from the village.
In defence, Saiti denied screaming another woman’s name when making love to Tembo, adding that his wife did not merely trust him.
He also denied ever proposing to Tembo’s niece and wondered why she thought he was promiscuous.
Saiti further told the court that whenever he came back from work Tembo would sniff at his clothes to ascertain if they had women’s perfume
Magistrate Nyendwa dismissed the case since there was no dowry paid.
